Ward Chili Cook-off

By the title of this post, many of you are thinking...."Oh no, did Corinna have to cook?" Yes I did. Did I win? No. But even more impressive than that, was my chili was eaten all up before I could even have my own bowl. I did take a small taste test at home while it was cooking and I thought it tasted pretty good, but Jared wouldn't taste it. Many of you who know Jared very well, know that he will eat ANYTHING, which started when he was on his mission to Brazil (where he probably ate things he didnt even know what they were). So when he didn't want to even have a small taste of my chili...I was a little worried. But when my chili pot was the first one to be emptied at the Willow Creek Ward Chili Cook-off, I gloated to Jared and said I wouldn't make it again so that he will never know how good it really was. The lesson to this story is you should taste my cooking while you have the chance, because once I cook something..it goes fast!!
